SentripodTargets and Prisms are
specifically designed for EDM surveying,
setting out and precise monitoring in
construction work, railways and
topographical surveys.
The
SentripodSystem uses lightweight, microprism targets
that enable Electro theodolites, such as
Leica and Trimble, to collect many hundreds
of coordinated points in the most economical
and convenient way. Whilst heavyweight glass
prisms do the same thing for longer ranges,
it is often found that lightweight,
multiface
Sentripod are more cost
effective and versatile.
They operate
within sites extending up to 80 metres
radius though double the range is possible.
They can be mounted in the most difficult
situations for monitoring indefinitely or
recovered for re-use.
Sentripod
mounts on to most surfaces, including brick,
steel and concrete. Alternative mountings include limpet, screw
or clip and it fits a standard 5/8ths diam.
